Undo, write, and a guided tour

• new

  Every change Elvoko makes to your files can be undone, right from the conversation. If you’ve edited a file since, it asks first and keeps your version.

  Choose how freely Elvoko writes in Settings → Agent → Permissions.

  In a document, choose some words and press Elvoko to shorten, expand, change the tone, translate, or ask in your own words. Keep the suggestion or discard it.

  On an empty line, press / and Elvoko writes there. It uses credits, like the chat.

Open, read and write your files right in Elvoko

  Space to look, double-click to open. PDFs, Word, spreadsheets, Photoshop files, video, audio, fonts and web pages open inside Elvoko.

  Documents are written in Elvoko and saved as you type, with a formatting bar and your choice of font and size. Export them to Word, PDF, one long picture or Markdown.

  Pinch to look closely at any picture or Photoshop file. Select cells in a spreadsheet and copy them.

  Copy a picture on the canvas and paste it into a chat, Photoshop or a document. ⌘V puts a copy where you can see it; ⌘⇧V puts it exactly where it was.

Folders and stacks on the canvas

  Folders on the canvas: drag a folder in from the Finder or the Files panel, and it stays in sync with the Finder.

  Stacks: group several pictures into a stack. Select a stack to flip through it with ← and →; Unstack puts the pictures back.

  Double-click a folder or a stack to see what’s inside.

  Drag pictures and files freely between Assets, Files, the canvas and the agent, and send a whole folder or stack to the agent at once.

Files, and documents the agent can read

  Every new project has its own folder in ~/Elvoko that you can open in the Finder. Or choose a folder of your own when you create a project.

  A Files panel next to Assets: your project’s folder and any folders you add to it, with previews. Rename, move, look at a file with the space bar, or move it to the Trash.

  Drag PDFs, Photoshop and Illustrator files, Word and PowerPoint documents onto the canvas. Files from a folder you added stay linked: rename or move them in the Finder and the card follows.

  The agent can read your folders and documents: every page of a PDF with its pictures, Photoshop layers and their text, Word, PowerPoint and Excel.

  Drag files, pictures and folders straight into the chat: from the Files panel, the canvas, Assets or the Finder.
