Manifesto

Why Elvoko.

Five things we believe about design tools, and what they mean for this one.

  1. 01

    Authorship stays with you.

The picture that ends up in the work is the one you chose, changed and approved. Elvoko proposes; you decide. It never signs anything.

  2. 02

    Tools should be quiet.

The canvas is the desk. Everything else floats on it and steps away when you want to look. No dashboards, no feeds, no chrome for its own sake.

  3. 03

A generated picture is material, not the work.

Generation is one source among references, edits and your own library. The work is the set, the system, the campaign — the judgement that holds them together.

  4. 04

    Your files are yours.

Projects, libraries and conversations live on your computer. Only what a model needs for a request leaves it — your words, the files it reads, the pictures it works on — and pictures pass through our storage for a day at most.

  5. 05

    We don't design for engagement.

No streaks, no nudges, no reasons to come back except the work. When you're done, you're done.

Elvoko doesn't make pictures for you. It makes them with you.
