Once
Opening Elvoko the first time
The beta is signed with a local certificate rather than an Apple Developer ID, so macOS asks once. Nothing else about the app is affected.
01
Move Elvoko to Applications and open it. macOS will say it can't verify the developer. Click Done.
02
Open System Settings, go to Privacy & Security, scroll to Security, and click Open Anyway next to Elvoko.
03
Open Elvoko again and confirm. You only do this once.
What downloads later
Two optional model packs run on your Mac: background removal (115 MB) downloads the first time you use it, and visual search (229 MB) installs from Settings → Data & Storage. Both come from downloadmodels.elvoko.com and are checked against a list that ships inside the app.
Updates
When a new version is ready, a dot appears on the ? at the top right of the window. Download it there, replace the app in Applications, and open it again.

Invites go out in waves while we shape the beta with a small group. The earlier you're on the list, the earlier you're in.
