Elvoko is in private beta. Request an invite on the home page, or redeem a code in your account after signing up. Invites go out as seats open.

In the Beta code field when you sign up; it applies once you verify your email. Already have an account? Enter it in Account and access activates immediately.

Invite links last seven days. Write to hello@elvoko.com from the same address and we'll send a new one.

The beta is signed with a local certificate, so macOS asks once. Click Done, open System Settings → Privacy & Security, scroll to Security, click Open Anyway next to Elvoko, then open it again.

Apple Silicon Macs on macOS 13 or later. Intel Macs and Windows are not supported.

Two optional downloads that run on your Mac: background removal (115 MB) and visual search (229 MB). Background removal downloads the first time you use it; visual search installs from Settings → Data & Storage. Both are verified against a list that ships inside the app.

When a new version is ready, a dot appears on the ? at the top right of the window. Open it to download the new version, replace the app in Applications, and open it again. Your projects are untouched.

Read what you give it (PDFs, Word, PowerPoint and Excel files, Photoshop layers, whole folders), look at the canvas, search the web and your pictures, make and change pictures, and write documents in your project's folder. Each step shows in the conversation as it happens.

Yes. Every change Elvoko makes to your files can be undone from the conversation. If you've edited the file since, it asks first and keeps your version. In Settings → Agent → Permissions you choose how freely it writes.

In a document, select some words and press Elvoko to shorten, expand, change the tone, translate, or ask in your own words; keep the suggestion or discard it. On an empty line, press / and it writes there.

Yes. Select it and say what to change. Elvoko makes a new version and puts it beside the original, which stays as it was.

Onto the canvas where you asked for them, and into the Generated tab of your library. If the app was closed when a picture finished, it is collected the next time you open Elvoko.

Each project is a folder in ~/Elvoko that you can open in the Finder, or a folder of your own that you chose when you created it. Files from folders you add stay linked: rename or move them in the Finder and the canvas follows.

PDFs, Word documents, spreadsheets, Photoshop files, video, audio, fonts and web pages. Press Space to look, double-click to open. Anything else opens in its own app.

If you keep an Eagle library, Elvoko can read it in place so its pictures show up in Assets and in Elvoko's searches. Nothing is copied or uploaded.

Making and changing pictures, the agent's work in a conversation, and Elvoko writing in your documents. Failed generations are returned to your credits automatically. During the beta, credits come with your invite and there is nothing to buy; if you run out, write to hello@elvoko.com and we can add more.

A credit pack that is entirely unused can be refunded within 14 days of purchase to the original payment method. Granted and bonus credits can't be refunded. Failed generations are returned to your credits automatically. See the refund policy.

Your projects and library stay on your computer. When you talk to Elvoko or generate, your words, anything you attach and the files Elvoko opens to answer you go to a model provider. Your conversations stay on your Mac. On our server we keep your account and a record of what each request used and cost, not its words. The privacy policy has the details.

Pictures pass through our server only when the provider can't hand them to you directly, and then for at most 24 hours. References you attach are kept for 24 hours after their last use. Your library never uploads.

Write to hello@elvoko.com from your account's address. We remove your account and its records within 30 days.

Sexual content, anything involving minors, real people's likenesses without their consent, political campaign material, hateful or violent content, and anything that infringes someone else's rights or is illegal where you are. The full list is in the terms.
